DELIVERY PARTNERS & CARE

At Livingware, we prioritise safe and efficient delivery of your orders. We work with trusted external carriers who are experienced in handling furniture and homewares to ensure your items arrive in good condition.

While delivery issues are rare, should any problems occur during transit, we are committed to assisting you in resolving them promptly and professionally. We strongly recommend reviewing this policy carefully to understand your responsibilities and what to expect during delivery or pickup.

 

DELIVERY & SHIPPING FEE

Livingware Furniture offers a standardised flat-rate delivery fee of $90 for drop-off only delivery to customers residing in Victoria, including Melbourne metropolitan areas.

 

DAMAGE ITEMS DURING DELIVERY

If damage occurs during delivery, please follow these steps:

Document the Issue:
Take clear photographs of the damaged item and all packaging.

Report to the Carrier:
Notify the carrier immediately at the time of delivery.

Notify Livingware Furniture at sales@livingware.com.au within 2 days of delivery, including your order number, proof of purchase and photos of the damage.

Please note:

Claims must be reported within 2 days of delivery. Once goods are accepted, Livingware Furniture is not responsible for any subsequent damage, including damage that occurs during loading, handling or assembly.

 

DELIVERY SERVICES

Standard Ground Floor Delivery

Typically, our deliveries are a one-person service for small, non-fragile items delivered to the main entrance on ground level. Customer assistance may be required for lifting bulkier items, such as lounge suites, as necessary. Clients are responsible for protecting floors, external and internal surfaces during delivery. We are not liable for any damage caused during the delivery process.

Excludes: Delivery to room of choice, unpacking, assembly and rubbish removal.

Bulky / Fragile Item Delivery

For large or bulky items; our carrier will typically deliver your order with two people. Depending on your location and nominated carrier, customer assistance may be required. Clients are responsible for protecting floors, external and internal surfaces during delivery. We are not liable for any damage caused during the delivery process.

Excludes: Unpacking, assembly and rubbish removal.

Above-Ground Floor Delivery

Available only via lift access and subject to prior approval. Stair access is not permitted unless otherwise specified and approved by a representative upon order placement. Clients are responsible for protecting floors, external and internal surfaces during delivery. We are not liable for any damage caused during the delivery process.

 

MISSED OR RESCHEDULED DELIVERIES

Someone must be present at the delivery address to receive the order. Our couriers provide a door-to-door delivery service.

If no one is available, items may be left unattended, and photo proof of delivery will be provided.

If you cannot accept delivery, please contact us in advance to arrange a safe location for your goods.

If no secure location is available and delivery cannot be completed, a re-delivery fee of $150 will apply to cover rescheduling and additional delivery costs.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Livingware Furniture reserves the right to charge a 25% cancellation fee on any cancelled item(s) or order(s). This fee covers administration costs and loss of potential sale while stock was held.

If an order or item is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date, a $150 cancellation fee may apply. This covers additional administration, handling, and re-warehousing costs for items already picked and loaded.

 

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Our efficient stocking system ensures most orders are professionally prepared and dispatched within two weeks. Delivery dates may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances in such cases, we will notify you of the new delivery date via SMS, email or phone communication. Please allow up to 15 business days for rural areas, delays or larger order sizes. Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any consequences or losses due to delivery delays.
